Training Course - Pro-Active Management of Health and Safety

PRO-ACTIVE MANAGEMENT OF HEALTH AND SAFETY

This two day course has been specifically designed to give line managers and supervisors the knowledge, skills and understanding of their responsibilities, under the Health and Safety at work Act 1974 and Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, to enable them to carry out those responsibilities and duties safely and efficiently.

The course will contain the following elements;

· Roles and responsibilities

· Managing for Health and Safety

· Accident investigation

· Communication and presentations.

· Risk assessment

· Safety monitoring

· Behavioural safety

The course will have syndicate exercises that will involve role-play and discussion.

Candidates will be required to complete a question paper at the end of the final day.
