SCAFFOLD APPRECIATION
INTRODUCTION
This ½ day course is designed for those likely to be working on scaffolds, such as bricklayers and painters. It will provide them with the knowledge and skills required for working on scaffolds safely.
The course will cover the following elements:
· Working load of the scaffold
· Is it designed to hold heavy weights (bricks, etc)
· Width of the working area
· Others working on the scaffold
· Securing the scaffold from trespassers at the end of the working day
· Safe access and egress
ASSESSMENT
A Certificate will be awarded to those delegates who reach a satisfactory standard.
